These terms explain the booking, payment and cancellation arrangements for travel services booked through Dream Peak Travels, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India. Please read them together with your quotation and booking confirmation.
1. Booking Confirmation
A 30% advance payment of the total booking amount is required to confirm a booking.
Accommodation and other services remain subject to availability until we issue written booking confirmation. Please check your confirmation and inform us promptly of any incorrect details.
2. Balance Payment
The remaining 70% balance must be paid one day before checkout.
Any separate payment requirements for flights, tickets or other services will be stated in your quotation before booking.
3. Package Inclusions and Exclusions
Only the accommodation, meals, transport, sightseeing, tickets and other services specifically listed in your confirmed quotation are included.
Personal expenses, additional meals, optional activities and services not listed as included are payable separately. Any applicable taxes or additional charges will be specified in the quotation.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation charges apply according to the policy of the hotel or houseboat booked. The applicable cancellation terms will be shared before booking confirmation.
Other booked services, including transport and tickets, may have separate cancellation conditions, which will be communicated before booking.
Please send cancellation requests in writing by email or WhatsApp so that we can record and process them.
Any eligible refund will be calculated after applicable cancellation charges. Where a refund must be obtained from a hotel, houseboat or another service provider, processing time will depend on that provider and the payment method. We will communicate the refund status and expected timeframe when available.
5. Changes to Your Booking
Requests to change travel dates, accommodation, guest numbers or services are subject to availability and the relevant service provider’s conditions.
Any price difference or change fee will be communicated for your approval before the change is confirmed.
6. Accommodation
Hotel and houseboat names, room categories, occupancy and meal plans will be stated in your booking confirmation.
Check-in and checkout timings follow the property’s policy. Early check-in and late checkout are subject to availability and may involve additional charges.
If a confirmed property becomes unavailable, we will contact you to discuss available alternatives and any price difference before agreeing on a replacement.
7. Transport and Sightseeing
Transport and sightseeing will follow the confirmed itinerary and vehicle arrangements.
Certain destinations require local union taxis or separate transport. These arrangements and whether their cost is included will be stated in your quotation.
Travel times are approximate and may change because of traffic, weather or road conditions.
8. Weather and Attraction Availability
Sightseeing and activities, including the Gulmarg Gondola, are subject to weather, availability and instructions from local authorities.
If an activity or route becomes unavailable, we will discuss possible itinerary adjustments with you. Any refund for an unused booked service will depend on the applicable provider’s refund policy.
9. Traveller Information
Guests should provide accurate names, contact details, travel dates and other information needed for their booking.
Guests are responsible for carrying valid identification and any permits or travel documents required for their journey. Please share identity documents only when requested for a specific booking requirement.
10. Support During Your Trip
If you experience any problem with accommodation, transport or another booked service, please contact us promptly so we can coordinate assistance with the relevant provider.
11. Privacy
Personal information supplied for enquiries and bookings is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
